Welcome to the Sisters of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary's WEB site. We wish to dialogue with those of you who visit this site. We welcome you from all places and of all ages, especially the youth of today. The reason we especially welcome youngsters is to respect the wish of our foundress Elisabeth Turgeon, who came to Rimouski (Quebec) from Beaumont (Quebec) in 1875 particularly for them. Our mission as educators has taken on diverse trends over 125 years adapting to the countries and the cultures that we serve: teaching, pastoral apostolates, leadership roles, accompanying those who seek assistance.

The Sisters of the community today were born in six different countries: le Canada, the United States, Honduras, Peru, Guatemala and Lebanon.

Inspired by the charism of our Foundress, we wish to remain with the people in order to manifest God's tenderness for all His children.
