The United States
Merely 25 years after their foundation, the Sisters of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary crossed the Canadian/United States border. The mission of Christian education found a welcoming land in Frenchville then in other parishes particularly in the State of Maine. The sisters went where the need was greatest. Many young girls from these areas answered the call of the Lord and committed themselves to religious life. A novitiate was opened in 1968. In 1999, the sisters with the people celebrated the centennial of the Congregation's presence in the States.
