Holy Rosary Library

The R.S.R. general library is primarily meant for use by religious. However, it is open to the general public for whom our available resources might be of interest.

The collection includes almost 72,000 volumes and about 150 periodicals. It is especially well-stocked with general and specialized reference books, books of theology and spirituality, but it also has works on history, literature, pedagogy, ethics and genealogy among others. The documentation for the Region (Lower St. Lawrence) is impressive and, because of the many monographs (in-depth study of a specific topic) and sets of books (treating a special subject in the area), it proves to be unique and valuable in our milieu. The section for periodicals contains extra copies that can be lent out as can books in the regular section.
